{"id":67,"date":"2010-08-14T19:10:04","date_gmt":"2010-08-15T00:10:04","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.mister4x4.net\/mister4x4\/?p=67"},"modified":"2018-06-10T20:00:43","modified_gmt":"2018-06-11T01:00:43","slug":"here-we-go","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mister4x4.net\/mister4x4\/here-we-go\/","title":{"rendered":"Here we go"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>With no keys, I first had to drill out the tumblers in the locking cylinder of the ignition switch so I could get the steering wheel unlocked, and actually steer the car around.\u00a0 Once that was completed, we pushed the Mustang into a stall at the GAFB Auto Hobby Shop and started walking around it.\u00a0 I asked my pal Jim what I should start with, and he said, &#8220;A tetanus shot.&#8221;\u00a0 (OK &#8211; that was funny.\u00a0 Props to Jim on that one)<\/p>\n<p>First things first, open the hood and start working on getting the grille, bumper, and fenders off to see what&#8217;s going on.\u00a0 The bumper came off by the brackets on the frame, since I had no idea how to remove them from the bumper itself.\u00a0 Then I could pull out the grille.\u00a0 All that stuff on the floor is rust &#8211; it was snowing rust every time I&#8217;d hit a bolt with the impact wrench.\u00a0 I think I swept up the floor a half dozen time before the day was done.\u00a0 Since one of the hood hinges had a broken (OK &#8211;
