Pulled the old valve covers, and while I had &#8217;em off, test-fitted the Scorpion 1.7 roller rockers and the fit &#8211; WINNER! Re-routed the main and fuel injection harnesses on the firewall to clean up the mess a little. Then boxed up the old valve covers, motor mounts, the old Duraspark distributor, and a few other things to send to Dave.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"768\" height=\"1024\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/mister4x4.net\/mister4x4\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/IMG_20230326_170907993-rotated.jpg?resize=768%2C1024&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1232\" srcset=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/mister4x4.net\/mister4x4\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/IMG_20230326_170907993-rotated.jpg?w=768&amp;ssl=1 768w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/mister4x4.net\/mister4x4\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/IMG_20230326_170907993-rotated.jpg?resize=225%2C300&amp;ssl=1 225w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 768px) 100vw, 768px\" \/><figcaption>So, unlike the stock-style &#8216;saddle-mount&#8217; Scorpions (that need longer push-rods), these 1.7 stud-mount units will work with the stock push-rods. Got the main and fuel injection harnesses cleaned up and re-routed a bit.
